We couldn't stand to be in such an unpleasant place, so we left.

Unfortunately, we were told that we could not be served because we only wanted dessert and not a full meal. This was disappointing, especially as there were available tables at the time. What made the situation even more surprising is that we had dinner here the previous evening and enjoyed both the food and the service. We specifically returned because we had a positive experience and wanted to try the desserts.
