Stopped in for lunch, there were four dishes available to choose from. I picked one that I was told was an African fish with rice and beans and salad. It was rather basic, but healthy and filling. Tried the lemon cake, I expected it to be a creamy texture but it was more like a flan/jello. Nice local spot for some simple vegan food!

Tasty, natural, healthy restaurant Bablu and Mafalda are excellent hosts. Nice terrace to enjoy all year round.

Sabor superior is a small restaurant in Algés offering homemade food for a very cheap price. The restaurant is located in a quiet street near Algés bus station and offers a daily dish and soup in addition to a small selection of snacks (such as a vegan version of the Portuguese Salgados). The food was filled and delicious and the portions were quite large. In addition, they also offer the opportunity to buy frozen salgados, then cook at home. All in all, it is a nice restaurant in an area without many vegan options, so a highly recommended visit if you are around.

We got two small savory things for appetizers, both were very tasty. We shared the entrees: chili with rice, and seitan in gravy with quinoa. The seitan was really good. The chili was good as well, but lacking in much flavor. Food tends to be underseasoned in Portugal (I live here), so the chili really needed some more kick. We also shared a piece of chocolate cake, which was surprisingly soft, moist and delicious with chocolate sauce pooled around it. The service was friendly. All of that (no drinks) was 28 euros.
