Had a biz dinner here and they opened early to help some of us from Northern Europe, who are used to earlier dinners. Great service all the way through. We had a ton of food, and all of it was amazing quality. I had some beef that I cooked myself ona hot stone and it was nothing short of perfect! I will go back here whenever I get the opportunity. We found this restaurant by chance looking for a pharmacy next door. Had a fabulous lunch, the garlic prawns were excellent. Went back two more times during our holiday and enjoyed all our meals. Very friendly owner, helpful staff and a great atmosphere.

Having heard such rave reviews we gave this restaurant a second chance after our first unhappy experience there, but to no avail. The waiting staff are all very pleasant. I have nothing else positive to say. The food took quite literally forever to arrive (forever being about 45 minutes . When it did our party of 4 received their starters at four separate intervals. They were pleasant, but nothing to get too excited about. Another 30+ minute wait before out main courses arrived, again, one at a time. The first two dishes that arrived were stone cold a squid dish and a monkfish kebab. The kebab was like shoe leather, whilst the red peppers interlaced with the fish were almost raw! We sent them back. They reheated them. Seriously. So now the squid was also like leather and the monkfish was burnt on the outside. The two other mains of lamb were pleasant, and warm (not hot! . They did not charge us for the monkfish, which obviously wasn´t eaten, but that is of little recompense when you´ve lost an entire evening waiting for mediocre food. Our first experience was the same; very slow service and mediocre food.
As only staying in Alcaidesea just wanted local beach in under 20 minutes we hadn't been to. The beach has great view of rock, fine sand, little depth so a strip of sand with lagoon at one end where restaurant is. It is clean very pleasant and popular with locals. Rustic beach bistro with great fish choices. you can see port whilst dining not beautiful not hideous either) . Food was freshly cooked, tasty , English menu available. Service friendly , there are a number of none fish choices, particular mention for the homemade tortia was gorgeous. The prices reasonable 67e for 5 of us including drinks.
Hands down, the best andalusian foodie experience so far! A must if you 're in the area of Guadacorte/Los Barrios. Good to point out that they offer early dinner, for those not used to the late spanish dinner times.
