close enough to the action and far enough to not feel like eating at a tourist site. the food was delicious! I had the jambalaya and my man had garnel the creol. both had a lot of taste and the portions are exactly right. I loved the sorts on the liqueur menu. the service was above the level and I appreciate the attention. we sat inside, but they can sit outside on the terrace or at the top even if they want this moo... What Ana Escobar doesn't like about Two-Nineteen Restaurant:
The ambiance was pleasant but the food could’ve been better. My friend arrived before I did and ordered the she crab soup. Although it came out quickly it got cold just as fast. She didn’t finish it. The Brussels sprouts were tasty, but there was way too much sauce on them. For dinner I ordered the kale Caesar salad with salmon and she had the shrimp and grits. The salad needed a little more dressing but I ate it all... View all feedback.
I can't say enough about this place. my mother's birthday yesterday evening to celebrate 219 was such a joy, I never expected everything to be needed on a place. the food was delicious, the band was excellent go holly) the bathrooms were clean and smell great, the service was great thanks to a special dame patty) the owners. my man was in the sky and knew that he could go up after breathing to smoke a cigar. what a great experience and we cannot wait to go back. our new spot.

Look at it!
SHE-Crab soup was good but the fried chicken was very salty. The collard greens were watery. Nothing about the food or ambiance suggested it was creole or Cajun inspired. I will be returning to the area in a few months but will not be giving 219 a second try.

The Brussels sprouts were tasty, but there was way too much sauce on them. For dinner I ordered the kale Caesar salad with salmon and she had the shrimp and grits. The salad needed a little more dressing but I ate it all. I asked for the salmon to be well done but it could’ve been seasoned better. The BBQ sauce on the shrimp and grits was heavy so she didn’t finish it. I don’t think we’ll be coming back here.
A few friends and I went to celebrate the marriage of our friend. The atmosphere was very inviting. Our server/bartender was amazing. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name. The food was great and so were the drinks.
