Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Alexandria

We had a great experience at this restaurant. We tried the jetty punch smoothie and a jerk chicken wrap, and both were delicious. I would highly recommend this place!

I really enjoy a good smoothie, but I can't stand long waits. I don't want to sound difficult, but I waited almost 20 minutes just to place my order. Maybe Tropical Smoothie Cafe should consider hiring more staff... that's not for me to decide. However, waiting twenty minutes to order a drink feels excessive. On the bright side, my smoothie was absolutely delicious! So, there's that.

I waited around 40 minutes just to place my order for one smoothie. There was one girl in the kitchen who was both preparing food and eating at the same time, which was quite unhygienic. She didn't even wash her hands. I won't be coming back, and I certainly won't be recommending this place to anyone.

I was quite disappointed with my order. I requested an Acai berry boost smoothie, but I should have checked it before leaving. It ended up tasting and looking like a fruit punch smoothie instead. If they didn't have the Acai and berries available, they should not have fulfilled the order. To make matters worse, I paid nearly $1 extra at this location. The quality was poor for the price I paid, and I regret wasting my money.

I’ve visited several Tropical Smoothie locations, and my Chai Banana Boost has been spot on at some places while watery and unappetizing at others. This location is definitely in my top 3. The customer service here is also very friendly. I highly recommend this spot!
