This was probably my favorite BBQ place in town until tonite. Apparently my family would’ve had to sit separately because we were going to have separate checks due to gratuity being automatically taken out. They catered for my cousin's graduation and food was great and they did an amazing job. Best BBQ in NKY for sure. Also I have seen some people posting negative reviews about this business the last few days and the people posting it have not even been to the restaurant. They have been very professional every time I have ever been there and I know hundreds of other people will agree with me on this. Don't let one ignorant person's opinion or experience keep you from giving this place a chance because it truly is great food and great service. Small business owners work to hard for you to try to bash their business. If you have a problem with an experience be an adult and speak with the manager, don't try to hurt their business for no reason.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing ownership! Followed them since their first location in Newport and I can't get enough! Even tip over 20% because the service had always been outstanding!!! Keep doing what you do, Southern Smoke!!
Well I see they changed they're Facebook page since they had so many negative reviews on the original one. Gave it two tries both were not good.
Thanks again Mike for donating bbq and coleslaw for my brother in-law funeral after party the food was delicious and everyone loved it.
There is a video and a post a lady made about her visit to this place i highly don t think people like this should have a restaurant. Unprofessional ghetto people. I will be posting all over and calling about this place. This place keep deleting my comments about them lol
