For our appetizer, we had the garlic bread (which we paid extra for) and the caprese salad. Both the presentation and the taste were delightful. For our entrees, we tried the chicken parmigiana and the chicken with tomato sauce and peppers (the special), and both were equally delicious. As noted in other reviews, the dishes weren't spicy, but it’s important for restaurants to balance the spice level for a broader range of palates. For dessert, we enjoyed the tiramisu, which was creamy and moist. Overall, it was a great experience—we’d give it 4 stars. Now we just have to come back to try the pizza!
The atmosphere in this restaurant was warm and welcoming. We loved the freshly baked, crusty bread that was served right away. The calamari appetizer was hot and crispy, setting the stage for our main courses: penne with sausage and mussels and clams over pasta. The pasta was perfectly cooked, retaining its al dente texture and bursting with flavor. Both dishes had generous portions of toppings. We also enjoyed a large slice of cheesecake, which was perfect for sharing. We would definitely come back, although it may be a bit pricey without a Groupon coupon.
Wonderful spot with delicious food!
