The shrimp pho was excellent, but the bread pudding was just okay—it tasted more like a cinnamon roll. I was quite disappointed to see a service fee charged to my credit card; that should always be the restaurant's responsibility, not the customer's. View all feedback.
Fried food was good. Half of the crawfish was squished or flat tailed, and the rest was bland and rubbery. The waitress was nice kind of busy, but didn't bring menus and I felt very rushed to order. We waited a pretty good while for the crawfish. It wasn't the worst, but we won't be back.
Anytime we’re in this area, we visit Robbie G’s restaurant but this time it was so inferior to previous visits. They were out of oysters (one of the reasons why we went) and curly fries. So we ordered French fries and onion rings. The French fries were soft and half cooked and the onion rings barely had breading on them. The fried shrimp were small and they didn’t taste fresh. We felt like we were eating fried shrimp from a chain restaurant. And our total meal cost was $50!! What a huge disappointment! We had much better fried shrimp/oysters in Pensacola for half the price. Sadly we won’t be back.
The smoked oysters are the best. Will definitely be back. I highly recommend
I am here from Fort Worth Texas visiting an old friend. I asked them to take me to a good seafood resteraunt. They did not know of one. So we Googled area resteraunts and found you guys. We were pleasantly surprised on how good the food was. We got there shortly before closing and they still treated us like they had just opened. The service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgable and very courteous. If I ever find myself in Alexandria again I will definately have you all on my to do list.
Haven't had a good shrimp po boy since I had one here. I got another one to go. Fried pickles on point. Crab cakes and all. Dang, I shouldn't tell y'all this. Might be tough for me to get a seat next time.
