Can?t believe I just paid $27 for the quality of pizza I just received. I have ordered from here a few times and the pizza was usually pretty good. Tonight, I received a pizza with so little cheese, we had to bring it home, add extra mozzarella to it and put it back in the oven. Food is good sometimes the service is disorganized and it can take a long time to get food or the order is wrong. That said the pasta and sandwiches are good. The smoked chicken with pesto really is superb. The pizza is also available. There is a good bar with a selection of microbrews, wine and liquor.
Perfect little Italian joint you’ve been looking for. Good prices. Try a sub! Italian sub is Philly good.
The eggplant Parmesan is a favorite! Also love the Cesar salad with shrimp …..the white pizza too! Our favorite neighborhood place !

I decided to get takeout since they have gluten free crust. I used to be a regular at the now closed Crystal city location. At that time, Cafe Pizzaiolo was arguably the best pizza in the area. I had high hopes for their gluten free crust. I had to throw out the pizza. The crust was both rubbery and rock hard.
