Pho Huy - Alexandria

Best Pho in NOVA! Almost everyone will agree that the soup base is the most important factor in Pho, and Pho Huy makes the best. They do not use MSG unlike every other Pho restaurant. Also, there is no grease or fat in the soup. Again, the best soup.

We love this place and come here all the time. The staff is hard working and friendly. The place is very clean. They do not take Amex. Took one star away because the pho has very little meat every time. I usually don’t want double meat so I think if they added just a few more pieces, it would be perfect. Will continue to come here or take out because the food is great!

Are you Pho-real! This place was really good. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our order was promptly taken and the service was great. It was also a Thursday. They were playing the NFL which I didn’t expect but good to know for future reference. The Pho competition is tough around here but this place did not disappoint. The appetizers were delicious and the broth was savory and delicious. The hot sauces were on point. It wasn’t like a fine restaurant experience but everything was good about this place. I definitely recommend.

This place was perfect on so many levels. The interior was nice and roomy and the service was the friendliest of any Asian restaurant I've visited. unlike many pho places, they even have dipping dishes so you're not constantly fondling the condiment bottles. Even the menu was better designed than what you'd expect from a pho place. Everything about this place is 10/10 except the pho broth, which was just okay. Compared to most places, the broth is lighter and less seasoned. This is okay if you have dietary restrictions but it seriously lacks flavor outside of spices like star anise, cinnamon and clove. Adding a few extra beef bones and letting the broth cook a bit longer would make it so much better. Still, 5/5 stars for the overall experience.
