Machu Pollo - Alexandria

Don't be fooled. There's no Rotisserie pollo at all!! I was hungry so I quickly looked up what's near me. Take out Tacos sounded quick and good. 1:30 pm. Took forever to get two chicken tacos prepared! Asked for pico de gallo on the side since I wanted to eat not soggy tacos at home. They were all over not so tasty chicken crumbs. Ate soggy tasteless taco $5 each! and threw away the second one. There are quite a few more other real Peruvian pollo/taco places nearby. Go to other places.

This is my kind of place. I knew this place was legit when I walked in and saw that not only is it a restaurant, but they sell clothes, and have a small convenience store in it. Service was quick and everyone was friendly so I liked that. I ordered three beef tacos (tacos de res), which arrived in about 10 mins so that told me that it was made fresh. I can't say that these tacos were the best that I ever had...the tortillas and the green sauce were fantastic, but the beef was okay. I did like the fact that there was not skimping on the fillings though, so be prepared to have toppings falling out of the sides. While I don't like that they only have 3 choices for the tacos, I'm definitely going to go back to try other stuff on the menu.

...Bad..just BadOrdered chorizo tacos. OVER PRICED. Tacos were cold, thr tortilla was pre heated and hard af. Got more tomato than chorizo. Very spicy.No gloves, grabbing food with hands while talking on the phone.

I came for their baleadas an they did not disappoint. Very friendly customer service. My friend asking it their chicken flautas and they were amazing. I would come back for the flautas. I got got baleadas de carne and it was so plentiful.
