What Veronica V doesn't like about La Taberna De Morgan:
Terrible service. Took them 30 minutes to get three tamales heated up. Three people that came after me and received thier food before me. This is the third this happens to me. I will not be returning anytime soon. View all feedback.
Amazing pastries!!!! Great prices!!!! I wasn't sure how the system worked though...there are tongs, and you put pastries you want into a bowl. Very nice staff.

Best breakfast in Virginia near Fort Belvoir. If you are looking for authentic Salvadorian food, look no further and come visit this place . I got the Desayuno Tipico . The pupusas were hand made and had amazing flavor. The setting is small, calm, quiet family setting. The workers were very nice and helpful. Their variety of pan dulce is good as well . If anyone is familiar with Dinora's Bakery in Houston, Texas..this place is very similar! Eat on my friends! -Sal
My foodie soulmate and I decided to have a latino breakfast this morning. We decided to just look around while driving down route 1 and we found this gem. I knew I wanted a desayuno tipico so when we entered and saw the menu I was excited! This is a El Salavadorian cafe and bakery, and their selection of breads seemed fresh. The cafe itself is very clean with plenty of seating and high chairs. The music was english gospel music, but the employees do all speak mostly if not all Spanish. My FS doesn 't speak Spanish and he had no issues ordering his food. The price was great, under $30 for two breakfast combos, one drink, one coffee, and an order of two pupusas. Our food came out in a timely manner and was more than I hoped for. With our breakfast order they asked if we wanted tortilla or bread, we had both. They give you a whole small loaf of fresh bread, and it was so perfect for dipping in their fijoles (beans) and crema (sour cream). My FS tortillas seemed handmade and thick, just like in El Salvador. We enjoyed every bite of our meal and will definitely be coming back! Oh and their tres leches cake was very light and moist, large portion too!
Huevos rancheros are delicious always tasty. The only thing I eat I haven't tried anything else. The tamales are ok.
