Went with a group of 5 for restaurant week. The service and food were both great. I would definitely recommend and I would also go back.

Great food and value! This was a nice night out for me and my visiting Aunt, who loves Italian. We ordered cocktails and appetizers first drinks were strong and the bisque was delicious. For our mains, I ordered the smoked chicken fettuccine and she ordered the mushroom risotto both were amazingly flavorful! I couldn't stop eating and had to have them take it away so I could fit in dessert. We ordered the homemade tiramisu and creme brulee both tasted of quality ingredients and were nice and light to end our dinner. Their wine selection is great and they have a nice selection of affordable bottles. The service was the only part lacking. It took more than a few minutes for our waiter to even stop by our table. In fact it was a bit of an awkward wait as he kept passing us by and didn't even acknowledge us. Finally we were able to order, but we kept having to flag him down for everything, ordering more wine, ordering dessert and getting the check. The service waiters did a great job of keeping our water glasses filled and clearing our plates, but the main waiter was not great. Overall, pretty much right on par with other reviews poor service but great food. So while I recommend checking it out, come in with a mindset that service will probably be sub par. It started very well, made reservations for 8:30pm got there and was seated quickly., order food a bottle of wine, the wine and bread came., at 10:00pm the waiter ask was I ready for my tiramisu., i'm like i've never received my meal, the manager was nice, gave the bottle on the house with an extra glass of some port at the end of the night after we got are food, my dae (wife) still payed without her get the service right attitude, a wonderful night for me, date night aka date school she was showing me how to treat her, i love my dae

Geranio’s is always a treat. My friends and I ordered 3 different entree salads and each was delicious. The chicken, salmon and shrimp were perfectly prepared. The crusty homemade bread, served warm, completed a great lunch.

Went for restaurant week with a group of 4 and had reservations. The table we sat at was so small that we couldn't all fit our legs under it without stepping on each other's feet. Pretty uncomfortable. It took almost 30 min to order and another 30 min to get our first course. I was never offered a refill on wine and had to flag the waiter down to get another glass which came 15 min later. The food was OK. Lobster bisque was fine, mushroom risotto was cooked well, they specifically tout that their salmon is served medium rare unless otherwise noted, I ordered the medium rare salmon, you know...the house specialty, and was served the driest most well done salmon I think I've ever had, after that the house made tiramisu was fine. There are way better Italian restaurants to go to in Old Town.
