Our group of five enjoyed Sunday brunch in the Cocktail Lounge Garden, where the cost was $25 per person, which included an entree and a drink. The menu selection was somewhat limited, but the entrees we chose were generous in portion. Unfortunately, our waiter was not very attentive and ended up charging us the a la carte prices instead of the advertised special. View all feedback.
What Blake Verhelst doesn't like about Cocktail Garden At King Rye:
Went for brunch in the cocktail garden. It was $25 a person which included 1 meal and unlimited juice. The juice was only orange or cranberry so you could make your own mimosas. Buying a bottle of champagne was reasonable at $32 per bottle. The food was good but nothing special. Based on the online description of brunch and the reviews I just expected a lot more View all feedback.
The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was delightful.
I was hoping to find a lively place for my birthday brunch, but it felt more like a ghost town. The service was decent, but a bit slow at the beginning. I had mentioned multiple times in my reservation that it was my birthday, yet there was no acknowledgment of it during our visit. It would also be helpful to have the brunch hours clearly posted, as we were told an hour after we arrived that it was last call for drinks. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning for a fun brunch in the future.

I was searching for a vibrant spot to celebrate my birthday brunch, but it turned out to be quite empty. The service started off a bit slow, and despite mentioning that it was my birthday in my reservation, they didn’t acknowledge it when we arrived. They should also make their brunch hours clearer; we found out an hour after we got there that it was already last call for drinks. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning for brunch in the future.
