Barnside Diner - Alexandria

We absolutely love the Barnside Diner. The food is consistently delicious, great breakfasts and hash browns. The service is always super nice. We never had a server who wasn 't absolutely lovely. After 2-3 visits, they actually remember your 'usual ', which is just amazing to me. For a traditional diner breakfast, this is one of the 2 best diners in the Alexandria area.

A decent alternative after being tired of IHOP and Silver Diner. The pancakes, both plain and chocolate chip, were pretty good. The bacon was superior to that of the former mentioned chains and really stood out in my Bacon Egg and Cheese bagel. Coffee was decent but the Sweet Tea was definitely a miss. The service was the best part. We were seated immediately, the food came out quickly and the servers were very attentive. I'll definitely be back

I’ve driven right past this place for years without batting an eye, can’t believe I never tried it sooner!! We came for breakfast, it was quite busy (it’s a breakfast restaurant after all) but the service was still quick and amazing. The food we tried was impeccable, especially the grits! Something about this busy little diner was so homey, like the ones we always went to as kids. Definitely coming back soon!

I absolutely adore this restaurant! It's a favorite for my family. Just keep in mind that it's a traditional diner with no frills. Don't expect high-end dining like the Ritz. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and we enjoy the lively atmosphere. There's always a lot going on in this diner. For the best experience, sit at the counter and soak it all in. If you're seeking a quiet, romantic spot, this isn't it. But if you want tasty food at a reasonable price, then this is the place for you.

I recently had breakfast at this restaurant and it was a fantastic experience. The price per person was between $10–$20, which I found to be very reasonable. The food was excellent, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was also top-notch, earning another 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great as well, I would also give that a 5 out of 5. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.
