Applebee's Grill - Alexandria

Today 3-2-2024 My husband myself and my 3 grandchildren came to your restaurant at 5:25pm I walked your host spoke I said hello how are you doing,I need a table for 5 he looked us over and said 15 minutes I said ok thank you.I didn't say anything until 20 minutes later he said 15 minutes then 45 minutes ,so I asked which one is it? He walked away and went to I'm guessing is his manager and for another 10 minutes I watched your host walk back and forth ,the manager didn't even come and address the situation,there were plenty of tables that were open we ended up leaving.I like Applebee's and so do my grandchildren it just saddens me that costumer service is not what it use to be.

I went for the all you can eat shrimp, wings and riblets. The orders come with fries, make you first order the one you want the most of, the next orders are smaller portions. The drinks were pretty good. Passion Fruit Mezcal Rita and Classic Mezcal Rita with Dos Hombres Mezcal and Teremana Blanco Tequila.

I ordered the chicken and shrimp sizzle. The chicken breast was very juicy but very salty. Just a bad day I guess.

First time at Applebee's, and probably my last. Service was wonderful but food was mid.

Place is empty on a Friday at 7:30 and there is an hour wait! As if the food is soooo good!
