I recently spent a week on vacation in the area, and my cousin brought me to this restaurant. The Afghani food was absolutely incredible! The rice was outstanding, and both the chicken and lamb were cooked to perfection. They are served on top of bread, which is delightful when you eat it right away, but it does get soggy as it cools down. However, the flavors are exceptional. What Danial Gutkowski doesn't like about Afghan Kabob:
Disappointing. The mantu did not have a yogurt sauce on it, the bread was thin like peta. The salata was delicious and very fresh, made with tasty tomatoes, and some jalapeños, although it had no or almost no cilantro. Service was fine, price was reasonable, food was packadd appropriately, they included utensils and napkins. View all feedback.
I ordered the Afghan curry with lamb, and it was fantastic! The serving was generous, and when we were almost done, they brought us an even bigger portion. The restrooms were spotlessly clean, as was the entire venue. There were a couple of minor drawbacks, but they didn’t detract from our experience. Firstly, it was quite quiet since there were only a couple of other patrons, despite the lovely music playing. The second issue was with our waiter; while he was very friendly and helpful, he spoke quite softly and, since there weren’t many customers, he came to our table about six times to check in. Although he was pleasant, it became a bit repetitive. Overall, this place was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend it!
I had an excellent experience dining here. The restaurant features several private booths that are very nice and cozy. As a big fan of Afghan kabob houses, I've searched for great food in Annandale, VA, but this place has definitely made it to my top 5 list. The food is outstanding—very fresh, flavorful, and the portions are generous. It's a great option for anyone looking for a nice atmosphere while enjoying authentic Afghan cuisine, especially if you typically frequent hole-in-the-wall spots.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was very clean and attentive.
The food was very disappointing; it looked like leftovers and was served cold. I won't be returning and definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
