It appears to me that ethnic restaurants in France tend to tone down the spice whether it is Indian ,Chinese or anything else. It was just about ok to eat outside weather-wise and we ordered pakora and samosa starters. The latter were not made with filo pastry but used puff pastry making them quite heavy and to my palate very under spiced. My duck mains was ok but fat not crisp and my wife's salmon fairly bland. Not sure exactly why it is so highly rated but it did at least make a change

Looking at trip advisor , a kaboul was listed n2 on trip so we decided to try it in order to avoid bad food like mcd for example ... the waiters , the manager or owner) were all very pleasant and polite , the food was great and flavoursome and good sized . The price is good considering the quality . Would definitely come back !
