What Derik Lattig dislikes about Shell:
Stopped in here New Years eve. Lights were so dim hard to tell if place was open. I was greeted, er not greeted by a sullen woman behind the counter who did not speak back to me when I said 'hello ' as I entered. I picked up some Excedrin Migraine and took it to register to be rung up. Was shocked when it rang out to $9.80. You can pick this up at the dollar store for $3.84. This is the best spot in Aledo for beer and wine, and you can enjoy delicious tacos from a local vendor right on the premises. They also offer a great variety of coffee drinks. Overall, I would give it a rating of 4 stars.

The Mexican food at this gas station is some of the best I've ever had. It’s called El Pollo Tejano, and they make fresh tortillas every day. It's no surprise that so many landscaping workers come here for lunch daily!
