Some of the best Sushi in the Lower Mainland. We took our daughter and son in-law and they felt the same way. The Miso Soup was delicious. The rice was well formed and of good taste. The fish was of excellent quality. The quantity of filling in rolls was the right proportion and every roll had a really good taste. The Chicken Karaage was delicious. The Tempura was perfectly done. What Eleanor Miller doesn't like about Hirame Sushi:
Seemed like a new chef was on shift today. Our main dish came before the miso soup. Not much effort in making my friends meal looks nice. Just gave her a roll and wasabi. Dumpling dish should have been wider to dip dumplings in. View all feedback.
Over all great food. Service is nice and good is good. They have a few interesting dishes that sounds better than they are.Parking: Parking is never an issue.
The food was excellent. My family favorite sushi spot to go

Located in a community shopping zone, decent price for Japanese rolls, sashimi and ramen ?/udon. Was told they have ran this business for over 10 years.
I have been ordering the delicious food from Hirame Brookswood for years. Something was not right with my order last night. Tuna sashimi came on a bed of mixed lettuce. Huh? What happened to the shredded Daikon? They had these little plastic green things that I guess are supposed to be decorative. Plastic things in this day and age are not appreciated. The batter on the tempura was tasteless. The seaweed wrap on the Spicey Chopped Scallop cone was chewy. I started eating and had to spit out the last part of the seaweed wrap because it wouldn't break down. I hope this trend doesn't continue.
