If you want a true “down-home” experience (as we say in Newfoundland, Canada … this is the best restaurant that gives the true family run, family spirit, homemade food truly made with love. You can feel the passion they have for their love of what they provide as traditional Portuguese food and family traditions!!! We have been in Portugal for over 3 wks and this is one of our top best restaurants we have been to! We were in The Cabanas for six days, tried most restaurants in the town , we went to this one 3x during our stay! (I NEVER, ever go to the same restaurant twice when I travel!… so that should tell you a lot!
