We thought this small cafe would offer a light lunch as there are toasties and other snacks on the menu. It took a while before a waiter asked us what we wanted and then after a very long wait we were missing part of our order. We waited and waited and in the end gave up, paid for what we had been given and left. I did tell the waiter he had forgotten and he apologized but it was all too late. I would not recommend t... Situated just a street back from the river on the old side of Taviria this great little cafe provides the best toasties, inside has a pull back roof so you can get a great breeze. Various tosties available many like the prawn with the mayonnaise spread on top of the toast and the Neopolitan is a delight. Great prices for an easy lunch/snack, staff speak English and are very helpful. There are also tapas, fries, and other items in the menu.
Only can comment on drinks, did not have any food. Popular with the locals, especially the mechanics from the garage next door! Friendly service, very clean facilities. What is not to like. Good stop off for a few drinks on the way to a restaurant or if not so hungry, there is a snacks menu. Opens late. Ticks a lot of boxes.
Brilliant lunch and a nice cold beer en route from portimao to Seville would recommend
