We sat under... read more Our first day of our break and had a lovely walk after the boat ride from Tavira – there was only one couple there when we arrived sitting inside. We sat under cover overlooking the dunes. We had a really lovely meal – huge bowl of clams which were delicious in a lovely sauce and some special pork which was the best we tasted on our trip. We sat and watched the clouds rolling around and it was just a lovely place to be – we were able to start relaxing and it set the bar high for food for the trip. To be that good out of season on a cold, wet day well done and thank you!

The cheese of the Cheeseburger a... read more It was the worst experience I had for lunch on the island. The french fries were not acceptable as they were not crispy at all. The cheese of the Cheeseburger as well as the bun were cold and soggy. We had small animals in the lettuce which has apparently not been properly cleaned. On top: We waited 1.5 hours for your lunch. I am sorry but I can’t recommend this place at all. Staff was friendly but seemed to be totally overwhelmed as all tables around us complaint about food and waiting times.

We will definitely return and will recommend to anyone travelling to Tavira.

Delicious Cataplana, fresh tuna nd for the meat lovers an amazing black pork dish. Beautiful setting with ocean views and they even offer water transport to and from the Island back to Tavira. Highly recommended.
