Dona Tavira - Alcoutim

We visited this restaurant several times before corona and it was one of the best in tavira. Unfortunately, the visit seems to be indefinitely closed today.

What a sound .. we are random in the apartment next door and decided to eat locally. big decision. nice eating .. great menu .. good service. highly recommended

A group of us booked a table (American/Irish/Scottish and English) for a meeting. we were made very welcome and our reserved table was beautifully decorated. drinks plus brot oliven cheese and butter arrived quickly while we selected our main courses (no wanted a start). different dishes were ordered from a varied menu with fish, meat and vegetarian. again, the meals came surprisingly fast together with the side dishes we had ordered. the food was hot and delicious and there was a lot of it. we can recommend the lachs, curry and the lambs. Fortunately, no one really wanted a sweet one, as we were told, that there were only two who were elected. we were then offered to a mandellikör who was beautiful. we decided to pay the bill and go to the central tavira for coffee and cocktails. great restaurant with varied starters, but the sweet menu must be extended. will be back soon.

The food was good as always, but the service was very bad, got our rice and chips, but waited old the rice and chips, where cold until the time we got the rest. but this is one of us.

We came upon this restaurant on our way to the station and checked out the trip advisor reviews which were star. Can I tell you that doesn’t do it justice. The mixed grill was huge and cooked to perfection the cod was amazing and...enormous the chicken breast was amazing and there was tons of it my husband had the shrimp curry which he raved at. The surroundings were lovely and the staff were fab. We would definitely come back by train just for this restaurant.
