We tried Al Foz and found that that it was prett... read more We were travelers during the week after Christmas. Many of the favored restaurants were closed for the holiday. We tried Al Foz and found that that it was pretty good. I think it is under new ownership or at least has a new chef, because all six of us had really fine meals. All had some kind of fish and I wish I could recall the dishes, but I was happy with one of the Chef choices. Wine was really good too. I did not pay the check, so I am sorry I do not have a lot of detail. Just know that we gave it a try and we were pleased.

Getting to the point that at the end of the meal, the waiter asked us “was everything good?” and just as we were about to give our opinion, he turned away and left. In the midst of this bad experience, the view from the restaurant was like an oasis in the middle of the desert. Clearly it's a restaurant I won't be returning to! Food: 1
