Mario - Alcacer Do Sal

So we stayed by Mario’s on holiday and originally put off by the locals drinking outside, we went in and were amazed by the quality of the food , the frango roast chicken was out of this world , so much so I am frantically looking for a recipe to relive my holiday! Well worth a visit for reasonably priced food

We were 6 having dinner and after a phone call we arrived and seated in a table in the cafe area. We asked 3 portions of secretos de porco (pork meat) and 3 of us could not eat it all. It is very well served with fruit (orange, kiwi, mango and pineapple) and chips. The price is very good and staff is very nice. We have enjoyed all.

If you're looking for grilled chicken, fries and tomato salad, this is the place. If you want polite people, customer service, happy faces and stay over 22h00, better take other restaurant as an option. They won't serve you after 21h30. If you arrive at 21h30, or either the owner is in a good mood or else he will ask you to leave. Either with a full or half full restaurant and during winter, spring, summer or autumn. Customers are treated under rude manners if you want extra fries, for instance. Waiters show their fear while serving. And finally, if you plan to go, make sure you have anti mosquitoes repellent. You'll find tons.
