I enjoyed a waffle at this restaurant that offers many affordable and sweet options for vegans. They have both savory and sweet waffles, each with a variety of delicious toppings. I shared the savory vegan waffle and the mango waffle with my partner, and they were quite good. The red chili was the best I've had in New Mexico! You can also customize your own waffle. I would give it 5 stars if HappyCow allowed me to! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tia B's La Waffleria:
I was so excited to have vegan waffles, but was a little disappointed that the only vegan option has chunks of coconut in it. The texture is odd, and if you don't love coconut, you'll probably be disappointed. I appreciate the effort to make a vegan option, but I wish it was a little more normal. View all feedback.
First time in this establishment. Walked it I said “hello” to the front counter person. Dead silent. Asked some questions and was given very short answers! We did arrive after 1pm. BUT we were in and out before 2 at closing time. The blue corn waffle was delicious!!
What a wonderful idea for a restaurant. Everything you love about crêpes but with waffles now. Pictured is the Salmon Lox waffle.
First time here I had the cherry and goat cheese waffle. It was absolutely amazing. my significant others have the bacon-and-eggs. I was extremely impressed with how much bacon was in The waffles. I will definitely be going back on my return trip. I really want to try the chicken and waffles.
Really a hidden gem in Albuquerque! Very unique and quaint! The food was awesome!
I love this place! It has not one but THREE gluten free waffle batters to choose from. The buckwheat is my favorite. Its fluffy but substantial and is great with the salmon and cream sauce. They also make lovely espresso and have a selection of gourmet loose leaf teas. The staff is amazing. So friendly and helpful! Petra, the manger, is a rock star.
