The tram ri... read more Highly recommend Ten 3 for any date nights or good view meals. We celebrated my husbands birthday last Friday and the entire experience was amazing. The tram ride was smooth and the views were great. We were seated and waited on quickly. Tommy our waiter was very professional and knowledgeable about the menu and even some of the history and views. The food was excellent. It is a bit on the pricey side but 100% worth the price in every way.

Once you arri... read more This is probably the most unique dining experience in Albuquerque. Located at the top of a mountain, you'll have to take the tramway to get there. Once you arrive, you'll get the option for fine dining or casual dining. We chose the later, which consists of a bar and a number of tables. The menu is somewhat small but has all the staples. The chicken sandwich was good, and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Service was unfortunately slow, and our waitress actually thought she hadn't submitted our order. Prices are understandably high considering the location, so be prepared to spend $20 on entrees and $10 for beers.

Visiting this restaurant is probably the best thing to do in Albuquerque aside from a hot air balloon ride. The food is incredible the view is stunning, and the way to get there is just as amazing. You have to either ride the tram up and down, which can be expensive when there are more than two people. I do highly suggest getting reservations. Ten 3 has a bar that you can utilize if you don't have the reservations and they serve some food, but a very limited choice....good, just limited. The really good food is in the restaurant itself. If you decide to take the tram up instead of driving, it is highly recommended to get there 45min to an hour beforehand. For best results to have a great experience schedule your reservations for 30-45 min before sunset. Also, bring a light jacket. You are going to be on the top of a big mountain so the weather up there is different. If you do drive up, plan for a 10-15 minute hike to the restaurant from the parking area.

My Chilean sea bass, once it cooled down, was quite chewy. I was supposed to have roasted potatoes with my dish, but there were only three, and they were overly salty. There was a large portion of bok choy. The filet was flavorful, but we’ve had better quality at other upscale restaurants. Overall, it was a nice experience, but we’re unlikely to choose fine dining again, as the price we paid felt inflated compared to the quality of the meal we received.

It is also very expensive, but everything including water and the help has to be brought up on the tram or driven up the backside of the mountain. Ten3 is definitely a worthy experience!
