Took my sister and her husband for a late lunch Saturday. No wait for a table. I called they said reservations not necessary. Very friendly staff. More of a lunchtime menu IMO but interesting selections with a difference. Nice selection of SW brews if you want a barleypop. I had a Rueben, I know not different but really good pastrami. Side Caesar salad. For starters a crispy zucchini parmesan appetizer that was aweso... View all feedback.
We were greeted at the door by a friendly, welcoming host and seated right away. The server was equally prompt and friendly. The menu is simple and well organized. No dizzying index of dishes in an attempt to satisfy every specific craving. The items on the menu are well constructed and each very unique. My wife had the pastrami Ruben on marble rye. This is a great sandwich classic that was made exceptionally. An ample portion of pastrami. The sauerkraut was fresh and drained well so no soggy bread. Very savory and satisfying with a nice serving of seasoned fries.I had the kale and brussels salad with crispy pork belly. Very fresh greens, light tangy dressing and green apple that adds a nice tart crisp. The pork belly was the perfect topper for this salad. It was juicy and tender inside with a nice crisped crust.I will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu and I highly recommend Sixty Six Acres to any one looking for upscale dining at relatively reasonable price.
Drinks are so refreshing and yummy , service is top notch, thanks to Alex for making it fun. Try something new and smile. The desserts are original and do the sweet thing to you palate. Try a crunchy banana or a baked Apple Green Chile Empanada . Come in hungry Leave wobbly ?Food: 5/5
This is one of our favorite places to go. Unfortunately, last night was the exception to this rule. Our drinks were top notch like always. But, our food was disappointing compared to what we have come to expect. We get the same Greek and Grain salad every time. The difference this time being the lettuce that was served was yellow and wilty. There were no green leaves but rather chopped lettuce hearts that looked like they should have been tossed for their expiration date. I ate my toppings and pushed the lettuce to the side. My wife returned hers and opted for a sandwich instead. They offered to make it right and did but the true disappointment is that they would even bother serving it. Also, we asked if there was better quality lettuce in the kitchen so that the salad could be remade. We were told that all of the lettuce looked like that! Not acceptable. OBrien was our server. When we brought our dissatisfaction to his attention, he knew immediately what was wrong. It 's the lettuce, isn 't it? He is an amazing server and his consistent, top knotch service along with the cocktails is the redeeming portion of our meal experience.
For sure stop bye. Broke down here in Albuquerque and it's been nothing but bad. This place was a good change of good. Alex was are server and she was fantastic. Told us about fun things to do and go. Thank you Alex. I had the chicken sandwich and it was great. The beer was good and the old fashioned even better. Thank you for the good experience and thank you Alex
We were just passing through town on a long trip, but I saw lots of reviews mentioning the roasted brussels sprouts and we had to try it! Honestly the best I've ever had! I don't quite know how to explain it, but they were crispy and also tender, perfectly seasoned, and served over the best sweet/savory sauce which complimented the sprouts so well!I also ordered a green chile burger which was simple, but very high quality and packed with flavor. You can absolutely taste the difference compared to the average restaurant burger. The restaurant has a fun vibe, kind of hipster bistro, and a little unexpected for the area (at least from our perspective passing through from Oregon on the way to Houston. Definitely a place I could see being a regular hang out for locals. Really glad we stopped by, and I know I'll always compare any brussels sprouts I have again to these!
