After having a large meal, and being taken good care of by the staff. All I can say is five stars all the way our waiter didn?t have much of a sense of humor, but he never let my iced tea go dry. The food is well all I can say, is you better share or you better be able to put a large platter down. Come in wobble out with a smile. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mariscos La Playa:
Food was tasty. Service was terrible! Gave us chips with 3 dips. My throat was burning from the hot dip. But they didn't give us our drinks. About 30 minutes later they came by with our drinks. Kept trying to get their attention, but they never look at you, just walk bye. Blond waitress, did not speak English. My drink was ok, my friend received, just water. He asked for soda water. I have been a fan for some time. Always a good service and seafood experience. Of the Mexican Baja style dishes from across the locations in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe, my favorite is the seafood soup 'Vuelvo la vida ' but I also enjoy the Shark,Snapper and I think I remember catching an outstanding Flounder dish in Santa Fe a few times. The free trio of salsa with chipsbefore the meal is a tasty welcome.
Used to be good. Not so much anymore. Knew I was in for a rough meal when my pico came out and was 80% water. Got the octopus and it was mostly mushy and smelled off. Only had a few bites before giving up on it. Still with what little I ate it made meincredibly sick. Such a shame cause this place used to have amazing food.

I had a ballena size shrimp cocktail my companion had shrimp fajitas,it was really big portion delicious ? ?? we also had a yummy flan.
