Mama T's Cafe Green Growler Smoothies

This place has fantastic smoothies, salads are great, bowls are good. Plus the owner is super nice! Also love that it is a local, female owned business!

Great food, fresh made and great customer service. My belly is full and I had a salad! Took a green smoothie to go for an afternoon snack. Absolutely fantastic!!

Finding fresh smoothies and salads fueled us on our road trip North. The owner was very considerate in sharing about her recipes and letting us sample before sending us on the road with a few new hiking ideas. Felt like we made a friend and got quality nutrition! :

So I'm out running errands and I'm in an area that I know but I'm like there's got to be something to get for lunch, right? So I do a handy-dandy search on my phone and find Mama T's café. I was only three or four minutes away and I was super excited that it was also a smoothie place. I went in and was very kindly greeted and I asked if there were gluten-free items. I was told by the owner, Tanya, that pretty much everything was gluten free friendly. Which is a big bonus for me and not always easy to find. They have smoothies, bowls, salads, wraps and it's all fresh and yummy. What I tried was a Burque Bowl and the Cashew Mocha Green Growler Smoothie. I happily hopped in my car and drove home which was only about 10 minutes away. And I recognized my location once I came out towards Montano. First of all I gave the smoothie a shake, and then I opened it and took a sip. What is happening? This is some creamy tasty yummy stuff. I bought a 32 ounce growler and have made myself put it in the fridge and not touch it again because I want to drink all of it. Now I want to try all of the flavors. Yum! Next comes the Burque Bowl. This is a large portion for a very reasonable price. This bowl has brown rice, black beans amazing beef, like pot roast style, red onions and bell peppers, cheese, salsa and avocado. Super tasty and I ate half! Can't wait for lunch leftovers tomorrow!! All I have to say is thank you Mama T's for a lovely smoothie and a great bowl!! I'll definitely be back and I'll bring my husband and tell my friends! Get on over there fellow Yelpers! One note, Mama T's will be closed from 8/28 and reopening September 13th.
