The food here is excellent—served hot and fresh, it's definitely one of the best options in Northeast Albuquerque. The restaurant is quite small, so it can feel a bit cramped when it's busy and you're dining in. Next time, I think we'll choose to pick up our order instead. I'm mindful of COVID-19, so I felt a little uneasy in the close quarters. View all feedback.
What Sonia Górska doesn't like about Chinshan Chinese:
All I wanted was my rice packed separately, but I was told it needed to be in a bigger box, which was not what I wanted in the first place. It felt like she was biased, as I noticed she was much more friendly to the white customers. Also, while I was picking up my order, I witnessed another Asian woman being reprimanded by the staff (I believe she was Vietnamese).

This restaurant is a step above your average greasy Chinese eateries. The food is of high quality, and the prices are quite reasonable. The vegetables are fresh and perfectly cooked, not mushy. It offers a solid menu with some unique options alongside the usual Chinese dishes you’d expect. The ambiance is bright and has a modern touch. So far, this is the best Chinese restaurant I have tried in Albuquerque.
I haven't been here since we moved to Rio Rancho two years ago, and it never disappoints! The food is amazing—high quality and always fresh! It's definitely worth the 45-minute drive. While you can order for pickup, I highly recommend dining in for the best experience.
While this location isn't my top choice, it's definitely worth the trip. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant and clean, complete with high ceilings. I highly recommend it. Now, let's talk about that second location...
This place is a must-visit! I tried the Mongolian beef and the crab cream cheese wontons. The Mongolian beef was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor, while the crab cream cheese wontons actually contained generous chunks of crab, making them absolutely irresistible. I'm so glad I discovered this gem in the city!
