I've been going to Annie's for 25 years, and have never been disappointed in the food, selection, cleanliness or wait staff. The owners are on site, and everyone is so nice. A lot of the wait staff have been waiting on me for years.
Plain Coffee was heads and shoulders above flying star. Food tasty. The wait staff are life long servers, responsive, not hipstery types who wouldn't lift a finger to clean. And Clean it is!! The decor is Unchanged since 1992, at least!! They had the Gonzo in 1992, when Judy and George owned it. They still have the Gonzo, and it's good! In a world full of B.S., ASK has stood the test of time. I am very impressed: I think they could change the decor, but keep the food, etc. exactly the same.
Outstanding!! Customer service alone is worth it, but the food! So delicious!! Definitely recommended. My daughter and son in law took me here for mother's day. Excellent ?
The last two times we were there the waitresses were abrupt and rude. It’s too bad because the food is decent. When I mentioned to the owner he just replied “oh really?”. Needless to say we won’t be going back. It took awhile before we were acknowledged. The table that was seated after and next to us were served first. Seems like it discriminates because of how we were treated as opposed to the other clientele. I lost my appetite. My friends urged me to eat something. I ordered a muffin to hold me over until I could get me something to eat somewhere else.
We were promptly seated. It took a while for waitress to get our drink order and waters. In fact she took the drink order of the people who were seated after us in adjacent table. When she did take our order she was abrupt and rude. I would have walked out if we weren’t with friends. I lost my appetite and just ordered a muffin. Paying my bill I mentioned to owner that we had a rude waitress and he said “oh really?” No apology or concern. In fact the previous time we were there a different waitress was also very rude. Won’t be going back. Terrible customer service. They don’t make you feel welcomed. Not sure if they are discriminating?
