We sat... read more Me, my partner and our friends went out of our way to visit here, as one of our friends is particularly into his karaoke and they had a karaoke night on. We sat down outside ourselves at around 9.30pm however no one noticed we had sat down and I had to search for a waitress to ask for a menu. She brought them out and took our drinks order. One of my friends is very particular around what foods she can eat. Whilst the whole party ordered pizzas, she ordered spaghetti bolognese. When the food came, a pizza was placed in front of her as well as the rest of our party and the waiter quickly shuffled back into the restaurant before we could correct him. My friend was upset, she deliberately chose not to eat a pizza because she couldn’t. The one in particular she was given was riddled with toppings she couldn’t eat. We all tried to get the attention of the waitress, looking out for her however she was nowhere to be seen. Eventually, one of our friends got up to bring the waitress over. When she came over, she asked if my friend didn’t like the pizza to which she said no, and that she didn’t order it she ordered the spaghetti bolognese. The waitress then shook her head, picked up the plate of unwanted pizza whilst saying ‘okay. You don’t like the pizza? Well, kitchen is closed’ and stormed off. We were all in shock at the rude response. The only reason I’m giving this a poor review and not terrible is because the pizzas we had were very tasty and fresh, and the waitress came over again to apologise and that the chef would make my friend a batch of spaghetti bolognese. However by this time we just wanted to settle the bill and leave!

Every meal or snack w... read more We’ve just returned from holidaying near here and ate here quite a few times. I had to write a review of the food as it was all excellent. Every meal or snack we had was good and reasonably priced, as are the soft drinks. The staff were also very nice and friendly and accommodating, brining me a dining chair outside to swap over for the wicker ones which were too low down for me to eat at the high tables. Worth a visit if you’re staying near here.
