What petergjn doesn't like about Restaurante Europa:
we were only customers no smiles ver slow service food just ok when we had finished no puddings or coffees offered had to go to bar to get bill as waiter was too busy talking to his local friends who were drinking at the bar TERRIBLE View all feedback.
A proper little Portuguese bakery which serves there own baked cakes and there merang is the best ever also nice stop off to the beach
Not the fanciest of restaurants but the food is really good and well priced. We had the best prawns and clams starters that we had all holiday, with a great recommendation of the Vino Verde to go with them. Main courses are large and typically Portuguese. They are a family run business and that comes through as their are family friendly but could do with some front of house experience. I was glad it wasn't busy.

I have visited Olhos de Agua with a large group of friends twice, soon to be 3 times Each time we have been we have been to Restaurante Europa due to how good the service and the food was previously A must go to place for a nice evening meal if you want authentic Portuguese food. I recommend the crab accommpanied by the sangria!
Best Cod fish ever... Very big size for the price you pay!!! Very good atmospher love this place... really recomend it
