O Galeao - Albufeira

Over the last two weeks I have visited twice. Once as me and my wife for our anniversary and once as a table of six to watch the sun go down. First as a couple we sat inside and felt that attention to detail wasn’t there. Starters come and we had to ask where our drinks were. Having visited here before we knew what the food looks and tastes like. We both ordered Portuguese steak and when it come it was clear they ran out of the “sirloin steak” and replaces with a huge “tournedo style “ steak. We ate it because this took an hour to come. Service felt sloppy and un owned and servers didn’t seem to have sections. When we came as a six, we sat outside and didn’t think it could get any worse. It did. 15-20 minutes and we had to ask for someone to come and take our order. Bread didn’t taste fresh very tough. The garlic bread is always good. Kids meal came out 20 minutes before our main meal. This time steak was correct steak but sauce was thin and so much it makes the potatoes on top wet. It’s the best location in Gale but I won’t be rushing back sadly

Restaurant on the beach of Gale with fantastic food and great prices. Physically, the outside is not much to see, but the food is amazing. Had some great meals here, the steak and fish are the best around.

Great place for lunch on the beach. I would definitely recommend the shrimp, so delicious

Fabulous food, very traditional, sardines, chicken piri piri, Portuguese steak and the best service of excellent staff, and the view is stunning, simply perfect
