A golfing friend had told us about this restaurant and said it had a great snack menu. When we got there the waiter told us about the dish of the day and we decided to go with it. Well for 8 euros we got bread and olives to start, roast pork which was very nicely served with chips, rice and a nice bit if salad. Then desert and coffee and we also got a drink. It was such good value and the food was really good. It is n... View all feedback.

we have eaten here a few times and enjoy the prato do dia and cheap drinks. However, they do not follow the Kovid rules with masks that are drawn when serving, no alcohol gel when we last visit and no paper towels or soap. in the toilets. for if we do not go back soon and know others who have said the same. I'm here for lunch several times when I remember in the last 16 years. it can never be satisfactory. today it was kouvert, bark stew, chocolate mousse, a small beer and a coffee for the prinzessin sum of € 9.50 traditional Portuguese food. at an excellent price. service, as always, was amazing, covid rules were followed correctly. it is clean, safe, cheap and eating is fantastic. I can't wait to go back.
This is a family-run bar/restaurant. always clean and a nice quiet place to sit on a hot afternoon or evening. they serve local cuisine that is always excellent and affordable. but they serve super bock on the design with an ice cold glass. that is by far the best beer I have tasted in the opposite. all prices are very reasonable.
We have been coming here with family and friends for over 20 years Run by wonderful family Excellent food at very reasonable prices
Like so many of these local typically Portuguese café/restaurants off the beaten track you can get bread and olives/pate, a tasty main course with usually 2-3 choices, dessert, wine and coffee for under 10 Euros per person which is great value. Never going to be...gourmet food but it's good honest Portuguese fare and served by friendly and helpful people...highly recommend!
We visited on a lunchtime in January and both enjoyed Piri piri chicken, rice, salad and chips plus an alcoholic drink, desert, and bread all for 8 Euros. Great value and lovely fresh food and will return soon.
