I have been stopping at an apartment directly above this little restaurant. I ordered a couple of vegetarian dishes thinking these might be just ok as we were cold and didnt want to go out. What we received was absolutely lovely, I live in Leicester and there plenty of Indian cusine around. Mother India is a great little Indian Restaurant. 5 star service, thanks. We were looked after really well. For starters we had fish and chicken pakora, nice n tasty. What was notable were the little sauces they came with, the best spiced onions ever! For main we shared the special tandoori mixed grill and the garlic chilly (sic) chicken. All very tasty and the sauces were seriously good. I would highly recommend Mother India if you are in Alubfeira.
