It’s the sim... read more Absolutely awful bland food. I went for the traditional and popular dish bacalhau à brás a dish that as a Portuguese person I’ve eaten all my life. It’s the simplest of dishes to make with very few ingredients. I can honestly say it was the worst bacalhau à bràs I’ve ever eaten in Portugal. It was absolutely tasteless. I tried to persevere and eat as much as I could but it was tough and ended up only managing to have a quarter of it. I also am aware I’m in a 5 star resort and expect the price of food to reflect that but what a complete ripoff and insult to the dish. It’s clearly designed for tourists who don’t know any better when it comes to the standard of the local dishes. Shameful really. This is not a review based on price it’s based on the standard of a very popular simple dish. It’s equivalent to getting fish and chips very wrong. First and last time at this restaurant. Avoid unless you’re after tasteless food.
