We ate breakfast here most mornings, full English only 4 euros the vegetarian breakfast good too. Friendly waiters, nice food, busy little cafe and quite a sun trap too. Worth a visit
Had dinner here it was cheap and cheerful , get a starter main and desert for 10 euro . had onion rings for starter main was pork chops chips and an onion gravy . desert apple pie and cream . after had a few cocktails which were very nice and very cheap . we then moved on to other bars as it can get very quiet in the bar .
Had breakfast here the first morning of our holiday. It was a basic fry up. One rasher of bacon, fried egg, sausage, half a tomato and beans it was classed as ok by my husband and parents. My parents prefer English food and decided to eat here thinking it would be nice and cheap. Husband ordered giant rack of ribs.... the ribs!! We're separated and piled up were just pieces of fatty pork chop with a bit of BBQ sauce over the top, not worth the €12 we paid for them. Chicken paella was just rice with s bit of over cooked chicken thrown in and was tasteless. I asked for my spaghetti bolognaise to have some added chilli, what I was served was chilli con carne with pasta. Over priced food, we had better for half the price. I would advise checking out trip advisor for more top rated reviews and you won't be disappointed.
This place is advertised as an English Pub! The owner and his son are Portugese. We saw no English staff. They had Boddingtons on draught advertised. When I asked for a pint I was told they don't sell it as the barrel would go off. Why do they still advertise it then!!! There was no other English beer apart from Guiness. We saw a family who had meals, all leave a big proportion of the meal on the plate. How good was that food?? The only thing British about this place was the prices!!
