What User doesn't like about Clay Oven:
I had the samosas, the wobble bahji and the flat brot with minze as entrée and as a general we had the nierenbohnen curry with spiced rice and the sweet banji with garlauch naan. 8/10 would recommend! View all feedback.
Lovely food here but only the roti is vegan there are no vegan naans, so don't believe all the previous reviews. The curries are very spicy and the lentil Dall was too hot for the kids so they made a plain curry sauce Dall which wasn't spicy and they loved. The samosas were nice but the pakora wasn't to my liking. The rotis were delicious. The staff were so helpful
Atención increíble. Todos los trabajadores son muy amables y atentos. Tienen un apartado con platos veganos y vegetarianos. Comida casera y con mucho sabor
Clay oven is an upscale Indian restaurant with amazing service and tasty food. Prices are pretty high for smaller portions. Clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options, though not as many vegan options as some other Indian restaurants. I have decent spice tolerance and my partner is Indian and frequently eats spicy dishes. We ordered some of our dishes medium and some mild and they were all incredibly spicy! Even piling on the rice and roti it was hard for me to eat. Just be warned about this!
The Clay just discovers the oven. Place was full and the menu had some great vegan dishes. Why not, and everything I can say is... a very happy find... Restaurant: It is up. Beautiful tables, polished cutlery and glasses with traditional music. It is open plan so you can see how the food is cooked and it smells amazing. Menu. There is a whole page dedicated to vegetarian dishes, most of which are vegan and the many others can be customized. With the exception of a rice and a bread, all rice, naans and rotis are vegan. When ordering, they ask you about the level of heat you want, and they nailed it. We had ... to start Poppadoms and Pickle €6. Beautiful selection of pimples with an unusual that was beautiful cannot remember what it was. Legume (Vegetable) Biryani €10,50. Rice and vegetables were separated (like meat on other tables) showing that they understand veganism and the importance of food separation. It was a large biriyani perfectly cooked with veg and the sauce tasted hot but not too hot. Bhartha (Roasted Aubergine Curry) €10.50 with Arroz de Cogumelos (Mushroom Fried Rice) €4. Aubergine is light and quickly destroyed when overcooked, but that was perfect. It had absorbed the taste that retains its soft but delicate structure. This should be very hot
This place was really good, I had the chickpeas Curry and my friend had the Veg biryani. Both were excellent, the staff is friendly and the service was fast. It is very busy, so I would recommend coming there at 6 or 7 if you do not want to wait for a table.
