We decided to eat here in our second night of our week holiday in portugal due to the beautiful intention of the sea (and also the incredibly beautiful in view... read more We decided to eat here in our second night of our week holiday in portugal due to the beautiful intention of the sea (and also the incredibly beautiful in view of fabio, the livelihood swimmer it is a tradition of me to order hard fish at...least once every holiday as a holiday contract. the one that I was served was absolutely delicious and if I had been in portugal longer, I would have come again for another. Moreover, we could not believe for the quality of food, how reasonable the price was! good enough that we return to a nice farewell in our last night, where I ordered the Portuguese steak! also divine. this night was especially great as the staff were so friendly and lively, a waiter even standing up and dancing with some other customers and making fun of the whole evening. it was the perfect end for our vacation and I am happy to come back in the future for another swordfish steak!

We would never be able to get their attention and if we had a question we got a sarcastic and short answer....Despite the location, we will not be returning

Open all day until around 11PM in the summer (don't know about m... read more As the name suggests this is right on the beach at Praia da Oura on the outskirts of Albufeira. Open all day until around 11PM in the summer (don't know about mid/low season) serving a variety of fresh meat, fish, salads, desserts etc. A proper...top end cafe come restaurant. It's service with a smile with excellently cooked food and reasonable/competitive prices including the wine. if your on the beach during the day and know you want to eat there that evening you can even pick your own fish to be sure they don't sell-out before you arrive. Being on the beach helps too away from the busy town areas. Extremely highly recommended. If you have kids who don't want to sit around after eating they can simply step out onto the beach to play. A word of warning and perhaps a downside for some, they do have TV for sports so if there is anything going-on and a Portuguese team is playing it can get a little noisy !!!! The TV is not always on.
