This is a great pub and I would go there again in future trips to the area.

My husband and I have eaten at the Albert and Crown several times (more times there than anywhere else on the Island--my husband is NOT a fan of eating out!!!).... read more My husband and I have eaten at the Albert and Crown several times (more times there than anywhere else on the Island--my husband is NOT a fan of eating out!!!). Our favorite is Hake and chips. They serve a very nice clam chowder (our daughter enjoyed her vist and the clam chowder). I understand they have entertainment there but we prefer quiter times. (recommend lunch hour if you prefer quitter times) Small restaurant with BIG hospitality. I certainly would suggest trying them out.

Having gone a few times i have noticed that occasionally the chef tries to do off menu specials and something you would not normally find in a pub atmosphere. Never been disappointed will keep going back.

Our server was friendly. 2 of us had the Burger Love special which was delicious, the gluten free burger was delicious too. Unfortunately the fish in the fish&chips was overcooked and a bit dry. A cute place with nice outdoor patio.

Despite being very busy with a large group of volleyball players, the staff and owner were still able to maintain a friendly attitude. The pub itself is very charming. I highly recommend this place if you're in Alberton. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5. I recommend trying the Burger or the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap.
