The Albert Crown Pub - Feedback

Was David L at The Albert and Crown Pub and Eatery a mag?
Birthday supper for four. Place was buzzing, very popular spot. Super Friendly staff, very casual small pub. Ordered cocktails, and beers. Decent selection of both available. The food though was very very good for tiny town pub fare. Quesadillas, seafood penne, chicken club, great fresh fries…….everyone was very pleased with the flavour, freshness, and generous portion size of their meals. No room left for dessert th... What gonjo dislikes about The Albert and Crown Pub and Eatery:
It was a decent dinner but not an experience to remember. The Greek salad we started with was fresh but not very Greek. (it was rather a garden salad)Greek salad should include much more feta cheese and tomatoes. The breaded scallops I had also also lacked generosity. Few scallops lot of French fries. The clam strip dinner of my wife was OK. View all feedback.

As I had only tried a couple of things on the menu , I cannot pass judgement on the place in total. I had the fish and chips... you would expect the fish to be home battered and fried ( even if they were using...More
Went in for supper. The food was great, my wife had the fresh local mussels and I had the wings. I was impressed their hot wings packed a really big kick. This is a great pub and I would go there again in future trips to the area.
We stopped for an early dinner while on our way home during the North Cape Coastal drive. Wonderful meal & service in a rustic little pub! The PEI Mussels were great & both the Greek salad & scallop dinner were awesome!
Chowder is wonderful!!! And the beer.....Island Red Ale draft....excellent! Wouldn't recommend for young children, but great atmosphere.
My husband and I have eaten at the Albert and Crown several times (more times there than anywhere else on the Island--my husband is NOT a fan of eating out!!!). Our favorite is Hake and chips. They serve a very nice clam chowder (our daughter enjoyed her vist and the clam chowder). I understand they have entertainment there but we prefer quiter times. (recommend lunch hour if you prefer quitter times) Small restaurant with BIG hospitality. I certainly would suggest trying them out.
The Albert and Crown restaurant in Alberton offers a mixed dining experience, with some finding the food to be lacking, while others enjoy the pub-style atmosphere and friendly service. The menu has its hits and misses, with some dishes impressing while others fall short. The cozy venue is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, with live music nights and off-menu specials adding to the appeal. While there are some issues with service and wait times, the overall atmosphere is welcoming and the staff attentive. Prices are reasonable, making it worth a visit for a casual meal in a historic setting.

Good pub food but nothing special. Well located along the Main street of Alberton. Greek salad was good!
Family run, quirky decor, local and tourist clientele. We liked this restaurant enough to visit twice. Burger plates are substantial.
The Staff is very accommodating and social, they are always checkin up on us to make sure our expierence was good. Having gone a few times i have noticed that occasionally the chef tries to do off menu specials and something you would not normally find in a pub atmosphere. Never been disappointed will keep going back.
This is a small town which we used as our hub. The pub was a great place to end the day. Great beer on tap, wonderful lobster rolls that we both enjoyed. The service was really wonderful! We sat outside to enjoy the sunshine which made it even better.
We were driving through town and decided to stop for lunch here. Our server was friendly. 2 of us had the Burger Love special which was delicious, the gluten free burger was delicious too. Unfortunately the fish in the fish&chips was overcooked and a bit dry. A cute place with nice outdoor patio.

Service rating: 5 out of 5 Atmosphere rating: 5 out of 5
The food at this restaurant was amazing! Despite being very busy with a large group of volleyball players, the staff and owner were still able to maintain a friendly attitude. The pub itself is very charming. I highly recommend this place if you're in Alberton. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5. I recommend trying the Burger or the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap.

Great place to eat ... Best Lobster Sandwich I have had in ages ... Connie our server was a sweetie ... Not only did she take great care of our party...
Best lobster roll ever! Great service! Lovely people!
The owner is a crusty grouch! So rude, I would NEVER go back or recommend this dump.
Flat drinks and overcooked chicken wings. Atmosphere of a basement mancave.
We really enjoy the atmosphere and the hake on Friday nights is AWESOME!!!!
