The Gateway Restaurant - Alberta

We ordered two large pizzas to take out. They were delicious! We have ordered from this restaurant many times for various dishes and it is always consistently good. Thank you for the great food and service!

Tucked away in Worsley you wouldn’t expect to find such a great place there is it! Had a delicious burger, it was huge, and came with many options for sides. I tried the homemade chips and dip, it was sooo good! At the back of the restaurant there was a dessert display case - so many different pies and cheesecakes - they all looked amazing but I was way to stuffed to attempt. Can’t wait to go back to try them!

Hidden in Worsley, you would never expect to find such an incredible restaurant! I had a fantastic burger that was both delicious and huge, with a variety of side options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the homemade chips and dip, it was absolutely delicious! Towards the back of the restaurant, there was a tempting dessert display case showcasing a variety of pies and cheesecakes that all looked amazing. I was too full to try any, but I can't wait to go back and sample them in the future!

I arrived at the restaurant around 5 p.m. and ordered a pizza that I asked to be well done. Unfortunately, the cook, who seemed to be the worst I have ever encountered, made a terrible pizza. I should have sent it back and felt like I wasted $30. The next morning, I threw it out the window. I returned to the pub about a week and a half later for dinner, but at 9 p.m., the chef decided to close the kitchen, offering only deep-fried food, which was not appealing. Another patron in the pub also wanted a real meal but settled for a plate of fries. The cook walked out of the kitchen as if he owned the place, which was unappealing. The waitress, Joanne, was great, but her hands were tied. The cook showed no effort in preparing a real meal and didn't seem to care. I ended up eating outside of my truck, as the food was better than what was offered in the pub. I hope the owner reads this review and makes necessary changes, as the cook is a liability to the business. I have had good breakfasts here in the past, but I will not be returning for dinner as long as this cook is employed. It is unfortunate that the restaurant cannot do better.

If you want a great service and a meal, you need to visit the gateway. if they enjoy homemade suppe, then they must definitely visit the tor. again the server is wonderful.
