We wandered into this cafe while walking our dogs. It's the cutest little cafe around. What User doesn't like about Vincent's Place:
The coffee is ok. But the food was overpriced for the average product, the bread and croissant appeared to be a day old. The staff were indifferent. A really great spot, great decor and clean. A shame it doesn't deliver. View all feedback.
Nice little café and had a good menu enjoyed a breakfast wrap and a refreshing smoothie. Great little spot to relax.

Out for a walk & stumble upon here, when visiting the area. We thought it looked quirky & different to all the other places we had passed. You could either go in, buy coffee at the hatch, or sit in an open garage place. All looked good, it was raining, so we opted to sit in. I had mocha & my daughter a hot chocolate. We opted to share a cake, as it makes it half the calories. We had blueberry & lemon, it was delicious, as were the drinks. The staff were friendly. & chatted, offering good service. The bathroom was clean & fresh. Well worth the visit.
There's evidently quite a lively recent history to this corner building. One clue is a pair of late-1980s photos of film-makers Werner Herzog and Paul Cox planting a maple tree in the tiny front area. The tree survives, and the cafe's decor (indoor and outside) also suggests the survival of the ethos of earlier decades. It's hippy rather than current kitsch, with allusions to bohemian artsy-ness and Van Gogh. If you know the older cafes and second-hand bookstores that survive in Glebe Point Road in Glebe in Sydney you'll recognise similarities. The cafe's location opposite a primary school and tram stop and adjacent to the busiest stretch of the shopping strip means it is pretty well guaranteed a clientele provided the coffee and service are up to scratch. Fortunately we found the coffee fine, and the service was friendly and reasonably prompt. The background music was well chosen and at a suitable volume. The location of our seating -- in front of the open fireplace -- was great on a cool winter afternoon; however the couch had lost its spring, courtesy of lots of previous sitters, and wasn't the best. The coffee table in front of the sofa hadn't been cleared, which was off-putting. If you like things slick, or object to dogs accompanying diners, don't go to Vincent's, but if you enjoy a shabby chic artsy and homely atmosphere you'll love Vincent's.
