Aben Razin - Albarracin

Stopped in for a beer and asked the gentleman behind the counter if he had any tapas or anything else to eat,he told me they don't have a kitchen but he could offer me some cheese and local charcuterie like chorizo or butifarra, I accepted and I thought it was appropriately simple for what I needed and where I was. This small tavern oozes with the charm of centuries old taverns in towns all over Spain! I liked its' rustic atmosphere and thought it added to my experience while visiting this special place. Definitely would recommend for a glass of some local hearty wine or a cold beer as a first stop when visiting Albarracin, it would be a great introduction to the town and put you in the right mood to start exploring its' narrow streets and hidden corners.

When we walked past the open door of this taberna, the relative smallness and darkness drew us like a magnet. I don’t know what it is like all the time, but when we visited, unlike many other bars in town, this one was pretty quiet and only had a couple of locals drinking at the bar. As such, it didn’t feel remotely touristy, and was a very pleasant place to soak up a bit of the local atmosphere.

Pues el típico bar de pueblo, barato y rápido. Además puedes pagar con tarjeta, cosa que se agradece. También tienen banderillas, cortezas y cosas para picar a media mañana. Leo en un comentario a una señora ofendida porque le cobraron 1€ por un botellín de agua, siendo Albarracín un pueblo que vive del turismo. Cuando encima hay una fuente de agua potable a un metro y medio de la puerta del bar. En fin... hay gente que mejor que no salgáis de casa.

Es el mejor sitio para tomar algo en Albarracín. Todos son muy amables y el sitio es acogedor y pintoresco. Muy recomendable tomarse algo en una mesita de fuera con buenas vistas y airecico.
