We ate here for the first time with another couple who have eaten a few times. So the menu was explained by them to us which helped as I felt the menu was not entirely clear. My only issue was I felt the meal portion sizes were a little small considering the cost of the meal and this is not at the fine dining end of food service. I have always had excellent service at this restaurant. The food options for fast and healthy vegan options are limited, but the dishes are always a big hit with my family. I was disappointed to be charged an extra 50 cents each for a vegan sauce, especially since there wasn't much of it and the cost for removing the cheese should have balanced it out.
We had a fantastic evening at GYG celebrating my daughter's 10th birthday. The food was quick and tasty, and the staff was very accommodating. I requested a candle for my daughter's churros (which I brought from home), and they went above and beyond by having a few employees come out to sing "Happy Birthday" in Spanish, complete with poncho and sombrero. Thank you to GYG for helping us create a wonderful family memory.

I ordered 2 enchilada meals by phone at about 5.30pm on a Saturday night, which I was told would be approximately 20 minutes and my husband went to collect them. GyG is only 2 minutes down the road. When he returned with the meals, they looked very yummy but were very cold. I had to remove them from their containers and heat them in the microwave which was very disappointing.Apart from that, the food itself was delicious so hopefully this experience was a once off.
Very interesting menu, nice to have something different , close to home. I thoroughly enjoyed lunch, staff very helpful in describing menu, food well priced
