My husband and I absolutely love Gamberetti's. The Beet and Avocado is always on point, and the pastas are generally good as well. However, within the last year I have found that the kitchen has an EXTREMELY heavy hand with the cracked black pepper in the pastas to the point that it is extremely unpleasant. What Diana Olsen doesn't like about Gamberetti's Italian:
Food was great, but very noisy table next to us upstairs loud with kids running everywhere. It was not busy as only 2 booths were occupied along with the two tables.Service was very poor, as we had to serve ourselves several times by finding a pitcher of water over on the table across the room to fill glasses twice. My husband and I are big fans of Gamberetti's. The Beet and Avocado dish is consistently excellent, and the pastas are usually tasty as well. However, in the past year, I've noticed that the kitchen tends to go overboard with cracked black pepper in the pastas, to a level that's quite off-putting. I'm not sure why they feel the need to add so much pepper to every dish—it certainly isn’t how it’s prepared in Italy. Despite this, I'll keep visiting Gamberetti's; I just plan to request no black pepper in my meals.
The wait time was a bit longer than expected, but our server was exceptionally friendly and apologized multiple times for the delay. The food was outstanding; it featured the freshest Caesar salad I've ever tasted, and the Alfredo was divine. I highly recommend this place if you're a fan of Italian cuisine.
The food was excellent, but we had a noisy table next to us upstairs with children running around. The restaurant wasn't busy; only two booths and two tables were occupied. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. We had to help ourselves several times, even going across the room to find a pitcher of water to refill our glasses twice. We asked for breadsticks, and while our server acknowledged the request, they never came back with them. Our group was a quiet party of eight. I recommend that small children not be seated upstairs, as there's no barrier to prevent them from falling down the stairs. On the bright side, the food was truly fabulous!
For a dinner with family, Gamberetti’s was the perfect choice. The interior is rustic, yet refined. The atmosphere is casual, but classy. All of the staff seemed so welcoming and friendly, and patient as I took my time to peruse the menu. The descriptions of the choices we were served were spot on. •FYI: Best Bread Pudding ever• You can dine alfresco as well, at the bistro tables in front of the building. What a pleasant dining experience for this out of town visitor. ?
Went with group of eleven folks. Nine appeared to have decent meals. I had the skimpiest sausage/pepper soup. My pizza came when everyone else was finished and we’re boxing up food. In fact my pizza arrived in a take home box. I felt sorry for the poor server. He was embarrassed by the situation. I might return, but it will be sometime.
