Great doughnuts and plenty of them were available. The only problem was... they gave us the wrong fritters. We asked for apple and received something like raspberry. Didn't find out until we were already home eating them. View all feedback.
What Michael K doesn't like about Cork's Old Fashioned Donuts:
It was my very first visit stopping in there and they didn't have what I wanted. They were all out. I didn't get any other donuts. I was looking for a Bavarian cream filled one and they were out.I did not have a bad experience, they were just out of the donut I wanted. That happens in a busy place. What they did have there looked really good though. View all feedback.
These guys have been doing the same thing and making the same donuts for years. They have a black belt in donut making. Not a lot of seating inside but most people get donuts to go then go to Elmer's to eat breakfast. Highly recommend.
These donuts are, meh. In fact, I did not find much flavor to them at all. And the appearance of them was, how shall I say, sloppy. But, the prices were extremely affordable. I couldn 't believe my eyes when I saw the price list. A glazed donut was $1.25! Cork 's Donuts is the kind of place where that old adage holds true, You get what you pay for.
They are so friendly! I love the old-fashioned glazed. The best I've ever had is here!! They also have a great raspberry filled! I like to break my old fashioned in half, break a raspberry filled in half, then dip the old fashioned in the raspberry sauce! So goooood!!
Best little old fashioned doughnut place in Albany! Their Apple fritters are SO good and it's super cheap to grab a bunch donuts for a get together or Saturday morning
