Experience absolutely to try, from attention to detail to the flavors that make you taste the vegan cuisine at best. A really superlative seitan, the best tried so far! Congratulations to the availability of the chef and waiters. The restaurant is called Arca and not Hostaria Arca.

The restaurant is located in the center of Alba Adriatica on the main street which ends on the Lungomare and shares a mid block location with an enoteca of the same name. Massimiliano, the chef and his brother run a tight ship with both a seafood and terra menu. My 3 friends all tried the seafood and were blown away by the Brodetto and the baccala ' while I spoiled myself with a thinly sliced elegant pork dish with Patanegra pork from the Jamon Iberico region of Spain. I have never seen this in another restaurant in Italy, although I am sure you might find it in a starred restaurant in Milan, Rome of Florence. The service was impeccable with the chef taking everyone 's orders and answering questions or advising you on choices which will delight your palate. His brother is at the ready with a nicely selected wine list with options from around the world, but the majority from the neighboring Abruzzo vineyards. Fresh breads arrive at the table with the amuse bouche and the tranquil, simple, but elegant ambience help make for a wonderful evening!

As we were in hollidays we search for the best option to have a nice dinner. This restaurant was choosen. When we arrived the waiter gaves to choose a table, we... read more As we were in hollidays we search for the best option to have a nice dinner. This restaurant was choosen. When we arrived the waiter gaves to choose a table, we sat down and the menus were presented in italian, we ask for a english version that came quickly. When ready to do the order we asked to a waiter that said some words and disapeard. After a few minutes came another one to take our order. We choosed the fish tasting menu and the waitress was really good on the recomendations. For the wine we asked a pairing and they had no ideia of what we were talking about, after explain what we pretended was presented a good wines that we enjoy during the meal. What we didn't liked was the different treatment given to us when compared to the other tables. The chef came regulary speak with the other people asking if the food was good, if everything was ok and not even a single word to our table. The time waiting between the plates was complety ramdom, sometimes we barely finish to eat the other was there already, some we waited more than ten minutes. after the meal were given the dessert menu and another 15 minutes waiting for someone came to take the order, another 20 minutes waiting for a coffe.
